1. Diagonal Mar Park

One of the largest and most accessible playgrounds in Barcelona, featuring spectacular play structures, lakes, bridges and unusual architectural shapes that will leave little ones speechless.

How to get there:

  • Metro: L4 - Selva de Mar

From there, walk 8 minutes to the park along Carrer de la Selva de Mar, then turn left onto Carrer de Llull.

2. Parc de la plaça del Fòrum

Giant slides, water play areas and plenty of space to run, explore and play without limits. Its location right next to the sea makes it perfect for families looking for outdoor fun.

How to get there:

  • Metro: L4 - Besòs Mar

When you exit the metro, it’s just a 2‑minute walk towards Carrer de Jaume Fabre.

3. Platgeta del Poblenou

This playground combines sand, themed play structures and a seaside atmosphere that children love. It’s ideal for a fun break before or after a walk along the waterfront.

How to get there:

  • Metro: L4 - Llacuna

Then walk along Carrer Pujades and Carrer Llacuna; it will take you about fifteen minutes.

4. Can Batlló park

Wooden play structures, zip lines and wide open spaces for all ages make it a great place to disconnect from the city’s fast pace. It’s an oasis in the heart of Sants, perfect for enjoying outdoor family plans.

How to get there:

  • Metro: L1 - Mercat Nou

Walk 9 minutes towards Carrer de Burgos, passing along Carrer de Súria, Carrer de Sagunt and Carrer de la Constitució.

5. Balena park

This is one of the most iconic playgrounds in Nou Barris, thanks to its large wooden whale turned into a slide. It’s a spacious area and a much‑loved spot for local families.

How to get there: 

  • Metro: L4 - Llucmajor

6. Doctor Pla i Armengol gardens

One of the most beautiful parks in Guinardó, with new play areas and quiet corners to relax. It’s perfect for surprising the little ones with a family picnic.

A tip for your visit: don’t leave without seeing the Sant Pau Hospital complex, it will make your day complete.

How to get there:

  • Metro L4 - Guinardó - Hospital de Sant Pau / Alfons X

You’ll be there in 8 minutes walking along Ronda del Guinardó.

7.  Glòries park

A wide, modern space with inclusive play areas and green zones. It’s the perfect stop for a bit of playtime after visiting the Torre Glòries viewpoint.

How to get there:

  • Metro L1 / L2 - Glòries

Exit the metro and walk for 2 minutes, you’ll see the park right away.

8. Creueta del Coll park

One of the city’s most iconic parks, featuring a play area, shaded spaces and a large central square. It’s a great spot for all kinds of activities: cycling, exercising or simply enjoying the views over Barcelona 

How to get there: 

  • Bus 22 - El Carmel - Passeig Mare de Déu del Coll - Baixada de Santa Marià

9. Oreneta Castle park

Famous for its miniature train, Oreneta Castle Park is a forest park with zip lines and play areasan unbeatable spot for a first family escape into nature.

How to get there:

  • Bus: V7 - Sarrià

Get off at Camí de Can Caralleu - Ronda de Dalt and walk 6 minutes along Carrer de Gaspar Cassadó.

10. Indústria gardens

A newly renovated playground with modern equipment, plenty of shaded areas and a very family-friendly atmosphere. It is ideal for slow afternoons and for families looking for a peaceful spot in the Eixample.

How to get there:

  • Metro L5 - Sant Pau / Dos de Maig i L4 - Joanic

Walk 9 minutes from Sant Pau station on L5 or eleven minutes from Joanic station on L4.
