In this article, we explore the magic and excitement that accompany the Three Kings Parade, celebrating at the beginning of 2024.

On January 5th, Barcelona transforms into a magical stage to welcome the Three Kings, Melchior, Gaspar, and Baltasar. At 4:30 PM, they will arrive at Portal de la Pau. There, the giants of Barcelona and the mayor will welcome them. The mayor will offer them bread and salt as a symbol of hospitality, also handing them the keys to the city so they can enter all homes with joy.

From 6:00 PM onwards, the Three Kings will start the procession (Av. Marqués de la Argentera), kicking off a night filled with colors, music, and joy, with glittering floats and the Kings greeting everyone with smiles. The youngest ones see their wishes take shape and come true, enjoying an experience that will linger in their memories for many years.

The parade is not just a spectacle but a community celebration in which schools, associations, and other local entities contribute with their creativity. This active participation turns the parade into a collective celebration that unites the diversity of the Barcelona community.

Remember that on Friday, January 5th, in various neighborhoods of the city, there will be disruptions in the routes of most bus lines between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM due to the Three Kings Parades. Therefore, we recommend using the metro for travel to the locations where the different parades will be held.

We actively participate in this event that marks the end of the holiday season. In addition to the indispensable collaboration of various volunteer drivers and technicians, regarding mobile equipment, we contribute double-decker buses from the Barcelona Bus Turístic and the mechanical platforms of several floats that will parade in the parade. We also provide three historic buses from the TMB Foundation: the Dodge Brothers 240 (1940), the Aclo Regent III double-decker (1948), and the Chausson Urbas de 1955.
