At Hola Barcelona we have made a small selection of some vintage and second-hand markets in Barcelona and also a mention of a gastronomic market to whet your appetite. Do you want to discover the hidden gems of Barcelona? Join us on this route:

  • Els Encants vells: Officially Mercat Fira de Bellcaire, it is one of the most emblematic markets in the city. This second-hand and vintage market, which includes more than 500 stalls and merchants, is located on Castillejos Street (Eixample). Here you will find everything from antiques to vintage clothing, old books and curious utensils. It is a perfect place for opportunity hunters and history lovers.
  • Flea Market: It is a second-hand market that is held on the second Sunday of each month in  Plaça Blanquerna del Raval, although between March and October it is bimonthly. It is a social and commercial space in which people sell and exchange second-hand products of all kinds.
  • Mercat Dominical de Sant Antoni: It is an institution in Barcelona. This market, held every Sunday in the Sant Antoni neighborhood, offers a wide variety of books, making it the largest market of its kind in Europe. You can find second-hand books, comics, video games, CDs and vinyl, albums, stamps, etc. Don't miss the opportunity to visit it and breathe its culture!
  • Mercat de la Terra: In Barcelona there are also very special gastronomic markets, so we will include the Mercat de la Terra in this list. If you are a gastronomy lover and you like to discover unique products, you cannot miss this space, which is held on Saturdays in the Jardins de les Tres Xemeneies and is a true paradise for 'foodies'. Here you can find local foods from kilometer 0, as well as organic and quality products. It is an excellent opportunity to delve into the rich culinary culture of the area.
